We help others to help!

Last week, on 1 October 2024, the ‘Concert for Humanity’ took place at the Tonhalle Düsseldorf. Under the patronage of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the DRK Düsseldorf organised a large charity concert. The Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Stephan Frucht and featuring world-famous stars such as Rolando Villazón and Daniel Hope, performed classical masterpieces. The repertoire for the evening ranged from Mozart to Dvorak to Bach. The proceeds from the event will be used to support the Ukrainian Red Cross in its diverse humanitarian aid efforts in its own country.
