Ukrainians who continue to work in times of war, insecurity and the ongoing crisis are experiencing a deterioration in their mental state and stress of varying intensity. This applies to doctors, nurses and non-medical staff in clinics as well as teaching staff and administrative staff in educational institutions. The same problem also applies to employees of NGOs that provide support in solving various social, legal, economic and other problems, protecting the interests of war victims, vulnerable population groups and internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, the elderly and soldiers and their families.
The Horst Rogusch Foundation has therefore taken on the financing of measures to stabilise and improve the psycho-emotional state of doctors and nursing staff in hospitals (e.g. Kryvyy Hospital), teaching and administrative staff in schools (e.g. Apostolove Lyceum) and NGO employees (e.g. Nabat Kryvbas) by raising awareness of stress management methods, developing psychological stability (resilience) and developing useful self-help skills.
